Rick Arras

Rick graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor of Science degree and a commission in the U.S. Army. He spent the next 6 plus years as an officer in the U.S. and Europe, and 3 years in the Army Reserve.

Rick was the President and Chief Operating Officer of Perkins Restaurants, President and CEO of Boston Market Corporation, where he successfully lead the Sun Capital company to a fast casual positioning and significantly reduced overhead expenses; President and CEO of Shoney’s, Restaurants where he drove improved performance and positioning of the concept resulting in the desired divestiture to a private owner; President and COO of Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, where after a period of rapid unit growth he refocused field management on high quality food and service while delivering improved top and bottom line results. While at Perkins, he received an MBA from Memphis State University.

Rick’s career has included consulting roles with Sun Capital in evaluating potential acquisitions and strategic planning and positioning with several restaurant companies. He also led a start-up joint venture formed to develop and operate O’Charley’s Restaurants in the state of Wisconsin.

Karen Henderson

Karen W. Henderson is a talented and seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience as a Global Human Resources Professional. She brings a wealth of expertise with strengths in Employee Relations, Workplace Investigations, Organizational Development and Staff Management.

Experienced internationally, Karen has a strong understanding of various markets throughout North America, Europe, and the Middle East. She currently works as a Global Human Resources Business Partner for World Animal Protection, a c nonprofit headquartered in London, UK. During her career, she has served as the Director of Human Resources at Middle East Broadcasting Networks, a TV and radio station. There she supported over 1000 employees located in the US as well as Egypt, Lebanon, Jerusalem, Iraq, and the United Emirates and spearheaded several HR initiatives. Additionally, Karen started in her career in the corporate sector and assisted several start up companies. She has also worked at various international nonprofits.

Mark Nassir
Saint Alphonsus Medical Group - President

Dr. Mark Nassir, (Colonel, USAF retired), currently serves as President of the Saint Alphonsus Medical Group.

He received his education at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO, and his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD.

Dr. Nassir was selected to lead clinical and medical professional staff members at outpatient clinics, community hospitals and medical centers. His command assignments included the 355th Medical Group, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson AZ, the Air Force’s largest medical facility, David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base in CA, and the 633d Medical Group, U.S. Air Force Hospital at Langley, VA.

The Saint Alphonsus Medical Group includes more than 70 urgent care, specialty and primary care clinics in Southwestern Idaho and Eastern Oregon.

Tony Vengel

Tony brings to the team a deep understanding of the buy and sell cycle affiliated with the Federal Government through many years working for and selling to Government agencies. Successes are reflected in the startup and sale of two companies based on revenue growth from technology and products sold largely into federal agencies.

Tony currently leads the sales and business development of a third start-up, having grown the business from $1.5M in 2017 to a projected $16M revenue in 2020. Developing useful technology based products for both commercial and DoD companies is his expertise honed through the fielding of hardware into the U-2, Global Hawk, F-35, F-22, multiple soldier worn equipment, and space payloads focused on earth imaging and surveillance.

Tony brings a level of professionalism and leadership to every team he is on and succeeds at every stop along the way.
